The news has arrived recently that Boeing will be opening up a 4th production line for their 737 MAX programme. According to Boeing CEO the 737 production line will take the place of the 787 production line, which will be moving to the now empty Boeing 747 production bay.
The new production line in Everett hopes to focus mainly on the 737 MAX-200 and the MAX 10, although, because the final 747 has only just finished being produced, Boeing doesn't expect the line to start producing aircraft until the late part of next year, and production will take a while to get going, to give the supply chain enough time to get used to the extra demand.
The announcement of the new production line came just before Boeing finished the production of their final 747 (which has recently been handed over to Atlas Air), one of the most iconic aircraft ever produced
